Job summary

Saint Louis University Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Surgical Technologist to provide technical scrub skills in the operating room during procedures and assist the surgical team as needed, in accordance with established procedures. The role requires energy, motivation, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

You will scrub for procedures in the primary cluster, operate all equipment, and entry data correctly while maintaining safety standards and a focused, respectful environment

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience or graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• Minimum Experience: OR experience or graduation from an approved surgical technician program; nursing equivalency for licensing.
• Required Course: BLS.
• Working Conditions: Must travel between operating rooms at rapid pace; protective clothing may be required; exposure to hazards.
• Physical Requirements: Lift and move patients/equipment; read and write; manual dexterity and mobility.
