Job summary

USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is hiring a Surgical Technician for a full-time role in Phoenix, AZ. The position involves providing surgical scrub, maintaining sterile conditions, and supporting the circulating nurse and surgical team throughout procedures.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered. Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and CPR certification, with prior OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in OR Technology preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous OR clinical experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical scrub for a range of procedures.
• Maintain sterility of supplies and instruments.
• Assist circulating nurse and team to ensure sterile environment.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments pre- and intra-operatively.
• Gown and glove surgeons and assistants.
• Prepare and manage surgical supplies and equipment.
