USPI The Orthopedic Surgery Center of Arizona is hiring a full-time OR Assistant to support the operating room team in a specialty inpatient setting focused on orthopedic and spinal surgery. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Current CPR or BLS certification is required.
• CNA, MA or other certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the operating room and assists with applying patient monitors.
• Assists with setup and takedown of surgical procedures and turnover in the OR.
• Assists in stocking operating rooms and obtaining supplies, instruments and equipment.
• May assist Materials Manager with stocking of supplies.
• Adheres to Universal Protocol and aseptic technique and maintains patient safety.
