Job summary

Prism Vision Group's Spokane Eye Clinic is seeking a surgical technician for an onsite, non-exempt role at our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Spokane. You will assist the surgeon during all operative and invasive procedures and ensure the OR is prepared and sterile for each case.

Responsibilities include maintaining instrument and supply readiness, performing aseptic technique, and collaborating with the surgical team to support patient safety and timely case starts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technician program.
• Current certification as a Surgical Technician.
• Must be detail oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
• Prepares operating room with instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Maintains aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Monitors instrument counts and reports discrepancies.
• Ensures safe, sterile environment and timely case starts.
• Respects privacy practices and center policies.
