Job summary

Door County Medical Center in Sturgeon Bay, WI is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician for the Surgical Services team. The role ensures a sterile, safe operating environment and supports the surgical team in aseptic technique and sterile field management.

The position is full-time, on-site, with a 32–40 hour week and rotating call every 6th weekend. CPR certification within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technician Program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field management.
• Support surgical procedures and act as second assist.
• Perform sterile processing and central equipment duties.
• Maintain environmental safety and disinfection in the OR.
• Collaborate with surgeons and circulating nurses to implement care plans.
