Job summary
Qualifications
- Graduation from a Surgical Technology Program accredited by CAAHEP or equivalent
- National Certified Surgical Technologist upon hire
- National Tech in Surgery - Certified upon hire
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Operating Room experience for program graduates or equivalent training with at least 1 year OR scrubbing experience
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeon and OR staff during surgical procedures
- Perform decontamination of equipment and sterilization processes
- Maintain sterile field and professional interactions with patients and staff
Skills
BLS certification (AHA)
OR scrub experience
Education
Surgical Technology Program (CAAHEP or equivalent)
