Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a sterile field.
• Perform scrub duties and manage instruments.

Skills

Ability to follow strict sterile technique

Ability to set up operating room with instruments

Knowledge of aseptic technique

Education

Completion of a surgical technology program

CPR certification

Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery certification (NCCT)
