Job summary

Sutter Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to prepare sterile fields and assist the operating room team in Palo Alto Medical Foundation CAD. You will gown, glove, drape patients and pass instruments, supporting the surgeons and maintaining equipment.

Candidates should have HS Diploma, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, and BLS. The role is full-time, on-site, with full-time hours and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Military Training as a Scrub Tech.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile field and set up sterile instruments for surgery.
• Assist surgeons with gowning, gloving, and draping patients.
• Pass instruments and supplies during operations; anticipate surgeon needs.
• Distribute supplies and perform equipment maintenance and testing.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, safety, and department procedures.
