Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) operates Palmdale Regional Medical Center, a modern 184-bed acute care facility serving the Antelope Valley.

This role supports Central Supply and OR operations, ensuring timely provision of sterile and non-sterile supplies, infection-control compliance, and proper sterilization of instruments. The ideal candidate has experience in central supply or OR support, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Central Supply/Operating Room preferred but training available.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• BLS certification or willingness to start within 45 days of hire.
• CPI required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, store, and issue sterile and non-sterile supplies to hospital divisions; assist in infection control.
• Clean and prepare OR instrumentation for sterilization.

Position Description

Prepares, stores, and issues sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment to hospital divisions and assists in maintaining an effective level of level infection control. Also cleans and prepares all OR instrumentation for sterilization.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and/or training in Central Supply/Operating Room preferred but will train.
• General education level.
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• CSSM preferred. If not currently certified, must start taking classes within 45 days of hire toward certification. BLS certification.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire
