Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Southwest Healthcare, seeks a Central Supply/Operating Room technician to prepare, store and issue sterile and non-sterile supplies across hospital divisions. You will assist in maintaining infection control and prepare OR instrumentation for sterilization.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic computer skills, and reliability; prior OR or central supply experience is a plus, with on-the-job training available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and/or training in Central Supply/Operating Room preferred but will train.
• General education level.
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• CSSM preferred; if not currently certified, must start taking classes within 45 days of hire toward certification. BLS certification.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire
