Job summary

Ascension is seeking a part-time member for the Pediatric Surgery department at Studer Family Children's Hospital in Pensacola, FL. The role supports operating room operations and patient care through terminal room cleaning, cart transport, inventory control, and assisting with patient positioning as directed by nursing staff.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma equivalency or 1 year of related experience. Licensure/certification can substitute experience where applicable.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Perform terminal cleaning of each operating room daily, including thorough decontamination of furniture, equipment and air vents.
• Transport case carts, equipment and supplies and dispose of hazardous waste according to policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain supply inventories at an appropriate par level.
• Provide physical assistance for patient positioning, lifting and moving as directed by clinical nursing staff.

Education
