You will also precept and collaborate with the education team on the surgical technology curriculum, with required BLS and CST/TS-C/NCCT certifications. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
• 3 years of independent Surgical Technologist experience required for Senior status.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Surgical Technologist Certification (CST/TS-C/NCCT) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare the surgical suite.

Scope of Work

The Surgical Technologist Senior will be responsible for maintaining and preparing the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, and making appropriate responses as needed. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols. Acts as a preceptor and engages with management and education team on surgical technology curriculum.

Qualifications

• High school diploma Required
• Associate's Degree. Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc.) Preferred
• 3 years of independent Surgical Technologist experience. Certification must be maintained throughout employment to maintain Senior status Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
• Surgical Technologist Certified (CST) - NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) NCCT Required upon hire
