HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking a Surgical Technologist (PRN) to join a collaborative OR team in Cypress, TX. You will scrub and assist during surgeries, prepare the surgical suite, and work closely with skilled staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes adherence to standards, on-call participation, and ongoing professional growth within a reputable hospital system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Surgical Technology program or equivalent.
• Certification in Surgical Technology required.
• Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans for and scrubs assigned surgical procedures per standards.
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
• Operates sterilizer and patient care equipment after training.
• Supports hospital processes, communicates issues to the chain of command.
• Performs additional duties as assigned to assist with OR turnover and supply inventory.
• Contributes to quality improvement and personal skill development.
• Assists with updating surgeon preference cards and case carts.
