Job summary

Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH seeks a PRN Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room, prepare the surgical suite, and collaborate with a skilled team. This role offers opportunities for education, career growth, and on-call support within a supportive hospital network.

You will set up instrumentation, assist with patient positioning, scrub in for procedures, monitor equipment, and maintain sterile technique to ensure safe surgeries and efficient turnover.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Scrub in and partner with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs.
• Monitor patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns.
• Uphold sterile technique, complete room turnover efficiently, and support a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
