Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains the operating room for surgical cases with proper aseptic technique.
• Assists the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies accurately and efficiently.
• Handles instruments for sterilization, inspection, and assembly.
• Performs sponge, needle, and instrument counts with circulating nurse.
• Assists in patient positioning and draping to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintains physician preference cards and ensures availability of supplies.
• Cleans, reprocesses, and sterilizes instruments following protocols.
• Restocks supplies and returns equipment to storage to keep OR ready.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
