Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech for a full-time day shift. You will be part of a surgical team, prepare sterile instruments, maintain sterile technique, and assist surgeons during procedures.

Qualifications

High School Grad or Equiv (Required).
Technical/Vocational School (Required).
Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
Prepares sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions.
Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed.
Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants.
Assists other team members with terminal cleaning of the room and prepping for the next patient.
Maintains the highest standard of sterile technique during procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
