Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of surgical technology experience; or graduate of accredited surgical technology program with 6 months clinical healthcare experience.
• American Heart Association BLS-CPR certification.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs procedures for each procedure, anticipating the needs of the surgeon.
• Maintain aseptic field at all times.
• Organize and achieve quality performance in new routines and procedures.
• Assist other surgical services personnel with positive teamwork and adherence to values.
• Takes emergency call as scheduled and responds to crises calmly and professionally.
