Job summary

Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) in Prescott, AZ is seeking a Surgical Tech to prepare the operating room, set up instruments, assist the surgical team, and maintain a sterile environment. You will adapt quickly, collaborate with the OR team, and contribute to patient healing while upholding DH-YRMC values.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, 1 year of surgical technology experience (or 6 months if graduated from an accredited program), BLS-CPR, and basic

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1 year of surgical technology experience; or graduate of accredited surgical technology program with 6 months clinical healthcare experience.
American Heart Association BLS-CPR certification.
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows.

Responsibilities

Scrubs procedures for each procedure, anticipating the needs of the surgeon.
Maintain aseptic field at all times.
Organize and achieve quality performance in new routines and procedures.
Assist other surgical services personnel with positive teamwork and adherence to values.
Takes emergency call as scheduled and responds to crises calmly and professionally.
