Job Summary

We’re seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technician to be the surgeon’s indispensable partner in the OR. You will proactively assess, plan, and anticipate every need, ensuring flawless execution from start to finish.

Benefit: $10k relocation assistance and $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedures, assessing, planning, anticipating, administering, and evaluating the needs of the surgeon for each assigned procedure.
• Maintain an aseptic field.
• Organize and achieve quality performance levels in new routines and procedures.
• Interact and assist other surgical services patient‑care delivery personnel in a positive professional manner, demonstrating YRMC values.
• Take emergency calls as scheduled.
• Respond to crises or emergency situations calmly and professionally.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of surgical technology experience; candidates who are graduates of an accredited surgical technology program with six months of clinical healthcare experience may also be considered.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows.

Preferred

• Cardiac Surgery Service team only: CVOR experience.
