Minimum qualifications include a surgical technician program certificate, Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire, and American Heart Association BLS upon hire.

Qualifications

• Certificate or equivalent surgical technician training required.

• National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate surgical procedures by assembling instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Work as part of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse and with the surgeon, anesthesiologist and others.
• Ensure patient safety and smooth flow of operations in the OR as part of Providence Swedish team.
