Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus is seeking a Surgical Tech to prepare operating rooms for surgery, assist in nursing care and patient preparation, and support scrub duties during procedures. You will work with a circulating nurse to ensure supplies, equipment, and sterile technique are in place.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status pre- and intra-operatively, documenting counts, and assisting with recovery of lost charges while maintaining safety and efficiency in the OR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; formal ORT program completion for new hires.
• One year hospital/surgical experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for procedures and assist in nursing care and patient prep.
• Assist scrub duties and procedures; participate in emergency and scheduled cases.
• Coordinate with circulating nurse for supplies, equipment, and sterile technique.
• Document counts and time-out procedures; monitor patient status pre- and intra-operatively.
• Support case progress, assist with recovery of lost charges, and ensure patient safety.
