Job summary

North Canyon Network of Care is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to assemble and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for each surgical procedure. You will assist with instrument handling and procedure techniques as requested by the surgeon, while maintaining a sterile field to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires a surgical technology degree, BLS certification, and the ability to work well with physicians, staff, and patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school earning surgical technology degree.
• Complete Certified Surgical Technology Exam within 1 year of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others.
• Ability and willingness to work with patients’ growth and development needs in the assigned unit(s).
• Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain clinical competency for the unit(s).
• Ability to manage a chaotic work environment.
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with performance improvement and organizational values.
