Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Surgical Technologist II-OR for the Lexington, KY area. This full-time role on the second shift (4x10s) involves draping, instrumentation, suturing, and ensuring sterile setup throughout procedures.

Qualified candidates will have a Surgical Technology program completion, CST certification, and BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days). Sign-on bonus is offered for qualified individuals.

Qualifications

• CST Certification required for the role.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Draping, instrumentation, suturing and equipment setup.
• Accurately count and account for all items before, during and after procedures.
• Anticipate needs of the surgeon and maintain aseptic technique throughout cases.
• Plan, prepare and function effectively in emergency situations.
• Ensure room is ready and minimize turnover for subsequent cases.
