Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support scrub role duties and provide patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. The role requires teamwork with licensed staff to ensure high standards of care.

Applicants should have a Surgical Technology program graduate background and at least 3 years of surgical tech experience, with BLS certification required. Sign-on bonuses may be available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program is required.
• 3 years of surgical tech experience or an equivalent certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care showing higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
• Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
