Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the scrub team. The role involves assisting with patient care under RN supervision and collaborating with licensed staff in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The ideal candidate will have a GED or high school diploma, completion of a Surgical Technology program, and at least 3 years of related certification or experience. BLS certification is required, with preferred additional credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Surgical Technology program is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care with higher level critical thinking and problem solving.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
