Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, is seeking an Obstetric Surgical Technologist (CST) to support obstetric procedures and newborn care. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist with patient positioning, and hand instruments to the surgical team, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.

The role offers on-site responsibilities with access to training, mentorship, and growth opportunities within a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience

• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands‑on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly

Qualifications you will need
