Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years recent clinical acute care operating room experience required.
• Graduated from an accredited Operating Room Technician Program required.
• National Operating Room Technician certification preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and yearly needs assessment for Perioperative Services budget.
• Scheduling monthly availability and call schedules; mentor, precept, and evaluate technicians.
• Report daily staffing ratios to maintain required productivity and work with the surgical team on solutions.
