Job summary

Universal Health Services' Temecula Valley Hospital seeks a Lead Surgical Technician to support Perioperative Services. You will assist in planning, budgeting, staff scheduling, and mentoring a team of technicians to deliver safe, efficient surgical care.

Under the Director's supervision, you will report staffing ratios, help implement process improvements, and oversee step-by-step progress of procedures. This role offers growth within UHS and its subsidiaries and a rewarding clinical

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years recent clinical acute care operating room experience.
• Graduated from an accredited Operating Room Technician Program.
• National Operating Room Technician certification preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and yearly needs assessment for Perioperative Services budget.
• Scheduling (monthly availability/call schedule), mentoring, precepting, and evaluation of surgical technicians based on competencies.
• Under Director supervision, reports daily staffing ratios to maintain productivity.
• Works with surgical team to find and implement solutions and understands step-by-step procedures.
