• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program with 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Three years of full-time OR experience as a Surgical Technologist acceptable if no program graduate within last seven years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Support patient safety and quality of care during procedures.
• Assist in turnover of surgical procedures and provide technical support to surgical staff.
• Work with diverse units and patient ages as required by the operating room.
