Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the night shift (7pm-7am) with rotating weekends. The role involves handling instruments and equipment, maintaining a sterile field, and providing technical support to OR staff to ensure patient safety during procedures.

Candidates should have a surgical technology credential, BLS, and relevant OR experience; CTS certification is preferred. This on-site opportunity offers specialized service lines across adult and pediatric cases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education.
• Must hold Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program and 1 year of OT experience or 3 years OR experience in the last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Assist with turnover of surgical procedures to maintain patient safety and quality of care.
• Support multi-service lines and care for neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
