Job summary

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Labor & Delivery team. The role supports the operating room through sterile technique, instrument handling, and room preparation under surgeon and RN supervision.

Night shift, full-time with shift differential, in Bolivia, NC location. The ideal candidate has a Surgical Technology background, CST or equivalent certification, and strong customer service and communication skills to support patient care during

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED, required; graduate from Surgical Technology program or military training equivalent.
Experience: Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: CST/TS-C/ NRCST/SA-C preferred; state-specific certs may be required.
Additional Skills: Complete skill validation, demonstrate customer service, communication, interpersonal, and time management.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient care while adhering to policies and standards.
Practice effective interpersonal communication with team and patients.
Prepare sterile instruments, operate within sterile field, assist surgeon and team during procedures.
Assist in prepping room for next patient and maintaining room cleanliness.
Show initiative to improve patient experience and team collaboration.
