Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Surgical Tech to serve as the primary scrub during operations at the McLaren-Bay facility. The position is part-time with shifts listed as 06:48am - 03:18pm, reflecting a consistent daily schedule.

You will manage instruments, supplies and equipment, assist with OR setup and cleanup, and support safe patient care across adult to geriatric populations. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be currently enrolled in an accredited CST

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited CST program.
• Graduation from CST program expected within five months.
• CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as primary scrub during surgical procedures.
• Assist with instrument handling, supplies, and equipment.
• Support OR setup and cleanup under McLaren-Bay supervision.
• Maintain a safe, orderly work environment and respect patient privacy.
• Respond to emergencies per hospital policy.
• Provide age-appropriate care from newborn to geriatric patients.
