Job summary

Health Marketing is seeking a Surgical Technician II to support surgical teams by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment, performing sterilization, and assisting during procedures. You will anticipate surgeons’ needs and uphold patient safety while interacting professionally with patients and colleagues.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology Program or military training, national certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire, plus OR scrubbing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology Program or military training in surgical technology.
• Certification as a National Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Operating room experience—either through accredited training programs or at least one year of scrubbing on surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care during surgery by preparing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Perform sterilization and equipment decontamination.
• Support surgeons and surgical team needs for efficient operative procedures.
• Maintain professionalism and positive interactions with patients and staff.
