Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a Surgical Technician to assist surgical teams under supervision by performing specialized duties in the operating or procedural environment. You will prepare equipment, maintain aseptic conditions, and support instrumentation during procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing drapes and supplies, ensuring proper instrument function during procedures, maintaining strict aseptic protocols, labeling solutions, managing specimens, and performing counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• Preferred: One year of surgical technician experience.
• Certifications required: Surgical Technician certification by the NBSTSA or NCT, or military/public health program certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.

• Attend meetings, in-services, and follow infection control policies, OSHA, and regulatory guidelines.
• Work independently, manage time effectively, and perform additional duties as needed.
