Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist Program.
• Certification as a CST within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately care for the surgical patient and support comfort and well‑being.
• Anticipate surgeon needs, pass instruments and provide sterile items efficiently.
• Assist by holding instruments as directed by the physician.
• Prepare the procedure room and check non‑sterile equipment for proper function.
• Assist in positioning patients for the procedure.
• Post‑op cleanup, including removal of contaminated instruments and waste.
• Provide equipment and supplies based on patient and procedure needs.
• Adhere to infection control principles.
