Job summary

Qualifications
- Knowledge of operating room equipment and its performance criteria.
- Understanding of aseptic principles and sterile field maintenance.
- Awareness of inventory management concepts and procedures.
- Familiarity with surgical technology concepts and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates patient care by assisting the surgeon before, during and after procedures.
- Sets up, performs, and cleans up the assigned surgical procedure as circulator and scrub tech.
- Performs counts of sharps, sponges and instruments per policy.
- Maintains sterile field in accordance with aseptic principles.
