Job summary

A healthcare organization is hiring a Surgical Tech I - CVOR to assist in patient care in the Operating Room. The Surgical Technologist will perform in the 'scrub' role during surgeries, ensure the availability of sterile supplies, and assist in training new team members. Candidates are preferred to have a diploma or associate degree in Surgical Technology and must hold current CPR certification. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and effective communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High School completion / GED required.
• Preferred Diploma or Associates Degree in Surgical Technology; Military Training.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care within the Operating Room.
• Perform in the ‘scrub’ role during surgical procedures.
• Ensure availability of all sterile supplies and equipment.
• Assist surgery team with room turnover and preparation.
