Job summary

MemorialCare Health System is seeking a Surgical Technician I for the Fountain Valley location. The role supports the Surgery Services department with patient care during procedures and aseptic technique under RN/Physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of acute care experience preferred.
• Experience with computers, internet, order entry and word processing.
• Proficient in medical terminology.
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care during surgical procedures under RN/physician supervision.
• Apply aseptic technique to ensure quality patient care.
• Operate and use surgical equipment and supplies safely.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical skills and knowledge relevant to practice.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
