Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, AZ, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Surgical Technician (Surg Tech) for General Surgery. This full-time, day schedule includes weekends (3x12, 6:30 am–7:00 pm; Sat–Mon).

You will support the sterile field, assist surgeons, and help maintain patient safety in a collaborative OR team. Required: high school diploma and accredited Surgical Technology program; CST certification and BLS within 30 days; minimum 1 year Surg Tech experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; CST certification from NBSTSA.
• Minimum 1 year Surg Tech experience; preferred experience in general surgery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Position patients and prep surgical sites for procedures.
• Maintain sterile fields and aseptic technique throughout surgeries.
• Pass instruments safely, anticipate surgeon needs during operations.
• Assist with retractors, sutures, specimens, and dressings as directed.
• Participate in counts, room turnover, and post-procedure tasks.
