Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, AZ is seeking a Surgical Technician for General Surgery. The role supports surgeons and the operating room team in delivering safe, high-quality care.

Candidates should have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program and hold BLS; NBSTSA CST is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of Surg Tech experience is required across general procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; CST from NBSTSA preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Surg Tech experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Position patients and prep the surgical site prior to procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and aseptic technique at all times.
• Anticipate surgeon needs, passing instruments and supplies safely.
• Assist with retractors, sutures, specimens, and dressings as directed.
• Participate in counts, room turnover, and restocking for smooth cases.
• Support safety, quality, and teamwork across patient ages.
