Job summary

Community Hospital OKC is seeking a Full Time Surgical Tech to join our operating team in Oklahoma City. The role involves scrub duties, sterile technique, and assisting the RN with circulating tasks as part of a dedicated surgical team.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of a Surgical Technology program. AHA BLS is required within 30 days of hire. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology preferred.
• Effectively communicates, both orally and written.
• AHA BLS healthcare required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform the scrub role and assist with all aspects of the care of the surgical patient.
• Follow sterile techniques and maintain aseptic environment.
• Assist RN with circulating duties, positioning, specimen preparation and transport.
• Communicate effectively with staff, physicians and departments.
• Set priorities and promote efficiency in the operating room.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and anticipated complications.
