Job summary

Community Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a PRN Surgical Tech to join our operating room team. You will perform the scrub role, maintain a sterile environment, pass instruments, and assist the RN with circulating duties to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

We value teamwork, communication, and adherence to aseptic technique as outlined in our policies. A High School diploma and Surgical Technology training are required or preferred; BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology preferred.
• Effectively communicates, both orally and written.
• AHA BLS healthcare required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub role and assist with all aspects of care of the surgical patient according to policy and procedure.
• Maintain sterile field and pass, hold, insert, remove, clean and assemble instruments and supplies.
