Job summary

Community Hospital OKC is seeking a Full Time Surgical Tech to join our operating team in Oklahoma City. The role involves scrub duties, sterile technique, and assisting the RN with circulating tasks as part of a dedicated surgical team.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of a Surgical Technology program. AHA BLS is required within 30 days of hire. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Under the general supervision, the Surgical Tech performs the scrub role and maintains a safe sterile environment which includes preparing, passing, holding, inserting, removing, cleaning and assembly of instruments, equipment and supplies; counting sponges, needles, sharps and instruments; and assists the RN with delegated circulating duties, transporting, positioning, skin preps and specimen preparation in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Always works as a team member within the entire facility. Performs other duties as assigned.
