Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to perform scrub duties and support patient care in a fast-paced operating room. You will assist in procedures and coordinate with the surgical team to maintain sterile technique and efficiency.

Work closely with licensed staff and the registered nurse, contributing to safe patient care across age groups and helping ensure optimal outcomes during operative procedures.

Qualifications

• Education required: H.S. Diploma or GED; graduate of Surgical Technology program.
• Work experience: certification or 3 years surgical tech experience.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program Required

Work Experience

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required or
• 3 years of surgical tech experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred
