Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• High School diploma or GED is required for this role.
• Enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technologist curriculum is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of sterile supplies and equipment used in surgical procedures.
• Perform appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care in the OR.
• Follow established procedural guidelines under supervision of a Surgeon or Scrub Nurse.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills for patient care considering family needs.
