Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: Postsecondary certificate or associate degree in Surgical Technology.
• Surgical Technology Certification preferred.
• Non-licensed/certified candidates may be considered for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for surgical instruments to the surgical team.
• Coordinate care of the surgical patient with other team members.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Perform duties in line with Mercy Service Standards and values.
