Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Surgical Tech for the Cardio OR CVOR in Tacoma. The role spans 13 weeks with 4/10 hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM). You will scrub, support the cardiovascular team, and join a call rotation including weekends. Epic EMR experience is used for charting.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years cardiac experience, a valid license, and BLS certification. Crisis Protocol approved credentials are also required. This is an acute-care setting with defined call duties.

Description:This position is for a CVOR Tech in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.The schedule consists of 4/10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.The role includes call responsibilities, with 10 call shifts every 6 weeks.You will work weekends as part of the schedule.The average number of cases per day in the unit is 2, with an average of 4 cases.Common procedures include CABG, TAVR, and minimally invasive and open valve replacements.Scrubbing is required for this position.All staff members are required to participate in call rotation.The call response time is 30 minutes.There is a mandatory call/standby requirement for the role.The team uses the Epic EMR system for charting.Unit/department-specific orientation will be provided.The cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.The role requires individuals to work in an acute care setting.
