Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support CVOR with cardiac, hybrid, vascular and thoracic cases.
• Operate with robotics and assist surgeons during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with instrument handling.
• Coordinate with RN, CSTs and unit staff; participate in scheduling and on-call shifts.

Description:Manager Interview required.Unit information includes 15 ORs and a hybrid room.Average of 45 cases per day.Patient types include cardiac, hybrid, vascular, thoracic, and robotics.Patient ratios for RN is 1:1 and for CSTs as required.Support within the department includes charge RN, nurses, STAs, CSTs, and PM.Technology and equipment include EMR, IV pumps, med dispensing, monitors, and unit-specific equipment.Floating opportunities are not available.Scheduling requires weekend rotation as needed.On-call requirement is one day per week and one weekend every four weeks.Holiday expectations are about 50%, based on need.Shift times include variations for day and night shifts.Schedule cycles occur in four-week increments.Scrub color is provided.
