Qualifications

• Surgery Technician certification is preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the surgical team in preparation of surgical procedures.
• Maintains a sterile field and passes instruments to surgeons.
• Checks required supplies and equipment prior to surgical cases.
• Transports patients and provides clerical duties.
• Completes instrument and needle counts with the RN.
