Qualifications

• CPR - Basic Life Support required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Certification as CST within twelve months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, medications, solutions, instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery and ensures instrument count accuracy.
• Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory if required.
