Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support the operating room. You will anticipate needs, prepare instruments and supplies, and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures, collaborating with surgeons and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Successful completion of an approved surgical technology program.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and keeps the circulating nurse informed throughout a procedure.
• Maintains high standards and quality in facilitating cost savings and containment.
• Assembles all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the procedure. Supports customer and employee satisfaction activities; maintains good relationships with physicians, management, other departments, and staff; and responds to complaints in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Monitors aseptic technique of the entire surgical team and takes immediate corrective action for any breaks in technique.
